Jill graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2005. While at Cornell, as a member of the Cornell Tradition Scholar Program, Jill held a job as a Student Supervisor for the Intramural Sports department. This job found an outlet for Jill’s love of sports, injury assessment, first aide, and being in charge. It is also where she found true love, as it was there that she met her future husband.  After graduation Jill, who is originally from Oakfield, NY (a small town between Buffalo & Rochester), moved to Long Island where she was engaged and began to pursue the next steps towards her post- grad goals. Jill began to work with Ray at Bright Bay PT as an aide, and instantly created a second family that eased the transition of her life changing move.

In 2006, Jill was accepted into Stony Brook University’s DPT program. While at Stony Brook she served on the Dean’s Advisory Committee for the Health Sciences program and received the Community Service Award. Jill graduated in 2009 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and as a member of the Alpha Eta, National Scholastic Honor Society for the Allied Health Professions.

Upon graduation, Jill could not choose between her two passions orthopedics and pediatrics so she didn’t, she worked in an orthopedic clinic with a strong Women’s Health population and school based PT. She currently divides her professional time between the orthopedic based practice of Bright Bay PT and a public school based pediatric position. She has taken numerous continuing education courses and classes in Women’s Health, hip complex, upper cervical spine, kineseotaping, lumbo-pelvic integration, cervical-thoracic integration, soft tissue mobilization and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Jill has also served as a teaching assistant in Stony Brook’s DPT program in Advanced Therapeutic Exercise and Health and Wellness.

With a husband, two small children and a dog to keep life interesting, Jill has little free time to speak of, but when she does, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time at the beach. Jill loves her job, her patients and the team at Bright Bay.
